Organic and standard cottons ready for digital printing make for an exceptionally large part of our fabrics range. Whether woven or knit fabrics, we cover every usage in prêt à porter. FINDING THE RIGHT COTTON
The best way to find the right cotton to print your design is probably to get in touch with us first. We will direct you to the right material in the right tarif range, according to your product, quantities and your market segment. Along with our advice, we also provide samples and tarif grids.
Some of our favorites include structured and light poplins for dresses, oxford and soft flanelle for shirts and also beautiful woven sweat shirt materials. For the winter we also print on baby-cord, gabardine and heavy twills.
Note that getting the best results with digital printing on cotton requires studying both designs and fabrics for the project. Textured fabrics need busy designs, tightly woven poplins work better with less ink coverage, bright and deep colours require reactive ink process. Although most designs are potentially possible, their are a few learnings that can greatly improve your chances of success.
WHY GO FOR ORGANIC COTTON ?
For obvious ecological reasons, we would love our organic cottons. The fabrics we have in stock are high quality and certified GOTS. This label certifies transparency and quality of the cotton growers practices as much on social criteria as on an environmental level.
The ecological benefits of organic cotton versus conventional cotton are numerous :
- No chemical fertiliser or pesticide is used in the cycle of fabrication of the fibre.
- Organic culture of cotton uses up to 91% less water than conventional culture, according to Textile Exchange. This is largely due to low irrigation and no spreading of chemical inputs.
- Normal health conditions for workers and for the inhabitants in the grower’s regions.
- We can digitally print it with non toxic pigment inks, using a process that uses less water than most printing technics.

We print organic and non-organic cotton with reactive inks and pigment inks, mostly in digital but also in traditional rotary printing techniques.
There is no minimum quantity on our range of woven qualities devoted to micro-production. The rest of our coton fabrics in woven and knit qualities are suited to normal to high volumes (from 100m). Rotary minimums start at 300m.
